About Lakeland Revival
Thoughtful Concerns About the Lakeland, Florida Meetings
By Publisher of The Voice

Greeting friends,
Lots of people are hearing about the meetings in Lakeland, Florida with Todd
Bentley. He has also held other meetings throughout our nation. Many are calling
our offices with reports -- both good and skeptical -- regarding what they've
witnessed at Todd Bentley's meetings.
I do not personally know him or the team of ministers, such as Bob Jones and
Patricia King, that are working with him. However, I have been involved with the
Pentecostal movement my entire life, and I would like to mention some cautions
for consideration to our readers.
At this point we have not yet embraced the Lakeland outpouring and have some
cautious reservations such as: |
1. We are concerned about this female angel named Emma that
is involved in the ministry of these ministers.
2. Allowing a known homosexual to preach at their meeting.
3. Excessive focus on the supernatural, including signs,
wonders, dreams, visions, esoteric experiences and angelic
visitations.
We all want to bring glory to Christ our Savior but like
thousands of others “we would see Jesus.” Our prayer is that
the Holy Spirit would lead and guide Todd Bentley and his
leadership team. In the mean time we shall do like those in
Berea that “searched the Scriptures daily whether those
things were so” (Acts 17:11).
